Why self-manage?
When you choose to self-manage your home care package, you choose to stay in charge.

Services you want
You are uniquely qualified to understand the services and support you require. By managing yourself, you can prioritise what matters most to you, allowing you to maintain your independence at home and within your community.

When and where
It's important to feel at ease with the people around you. By self-managing you can select individuals who speak your language and share similar interests.

More hours of supports
Providers fees can reduce your Home Care Package funding. Self-managed, helps you avoid these costs, allowing for more hours of support.
Your Choice, Your Support
Aged Care Ambassadors is currently in the process of registration with the Aged Care Commission.
If you're self-managing your Home Care Package, we can begin supporting you immediately with tailored support worker services to suit your needs.
If your package is provider-managed, you still have the right to choose the supports and services that work best for you.
You should be able to speak with your provider and request to use your preferred support workers—and that includes us.
